Second Hope is a programme created and owned by PinjamNow, brought to you in partnership with DuitPlus. It is built specifically for civil servants and private sector employees navigating the weight of unpaid financing, the difficulty of being blacklisted, and the long road back to healthy financial management.

Through end-to-end debt restructuring and structured repayment, programme participants regain their eligibility to apply for financing from financial institutions. This is a meaningful second chance to rebuild your life, and your family’s future.

5

A real chance to lift the quality of life and standing of you, and the people who depend on you.

“On a RM2,000 salary, my spending habits caught up with me. I was blacklisted by financial institutions after defaulting on RM20,000 in financing. Then my mother’s health took a turn, and I urgently needed RM10,000 for her treatment. A friend told me about Second Hope through DuitPlus. The team helped clear my name from the blacklist and structured a new repayment I could actually manage. Today, I am back in control of my finances. Thank you, DuitPlus.”

Join Second Hope

Get structured debt restructuring and financial guidance to clear your blacklist record, and start fresh with a programme built for recovery.
2

Build Your Financial Knowledge

Attend financial management courses, classes, or forums. The more you understand how money moves, the harder it is to lose control of it.
3

Stick to a Monthly Budget and Remove

A simple, consistent budget is the most underrated financial tool. Track what comes in, plan what goes out, and review it every month.
4

Borrow Only When You Truly Need To

Financing should be the last resort, not the first. Borrow only when it is genuinely necessary, and only when you are confident you can repay.
5

Spend With Intention, Not Impulse

Leave the credit card at home for non-essential outings. Buy what you need, not what catches your eye in the moment.

What is the difference between DuitPlus and the Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK)?

AKPK is a public agency by Bank Negara Malaysia that provides free credit counselling and debt management advice. DuitPlus is the strategic partner of PinjamNow, and through Second Hope, we help eligible borrowers actually clear their blacklist record and restructure overdue financing. The two work well together — AKPK advises, DuitPlus solves.

What is the name of the programme offered through DuitPlus?

The programme is called Second Hope — created and owned by
PinjamNow, in partnership with DuitPlus.

How does DuitPlus run the Second Hope programme?

DuitPlus guides your journey through Second Hope, your overdue financing is consolidated into one manageable repayment, and your blacklist record is cleared.

How is DuitPlus different from a licensed money lender?

DuitPlus is not a money lender. We are a consultancy that helps borrowers clear their blacklist records through Second Hope. A money lender hands you new debt, while Second Hope helps you clear old debt and rebuild from there.

Can blacklisted borrowers apply for new financing from a financial institution?

Generally, no — banks decline blacklisted applicants regardless of income. Second Hope was built to close that gap: we help eligible borrowers clear their record first, so the doors that were closed start opening again.

Which blacklist statuses can be cleared through the Second Hope programme?

Second Hope can clear three blacklist statuses: Special Attention Account, Reschedule, and Default Payment. Active bankruptcy is the one status we cannot help with. Final eligibility is confirmed through an assessment by our team and PinjamNow’s system.

How long does the process take?

For eligible applicants, the full process from application to a clean record typically takes one to three months. The eligibility check itself is much faster — usually completed within minutes of receiving your documents.

Eligibility check is free, confidential and takes only a few minutes.
